Artist inspired by faith, nature, and family.
The Art and Journey of Stephanie Hopkins

We are pleased to present Stephanie Hopkins: A Life in Paint, an intimate collection celebrating the artist’s evolving creative journey. Bringing together works from her diverse collections—including Trees, Beach, Botanical, Portraiture, Sacred Art, Animals, and Memento Mori—the book offers a glimpse into the subjects, memories, and observations that have shaped Stephanie’s practice.

Through this publication, we are delighted to share her work and the story of her artistic journey with a wider audience.

Stephanie is a largely self-taught artist based in Alvin, Texas, where she works from her home studio. What began as a desire to create artwork for her own home and meaningful gifts for family and friends gradually evolved into a dedicated artistic practice driven by curiosity, experimentation, and a passion for visual storytelling. Working across a variety of mixed media—including oil, watercolor, and metal foil on diverse substrates Stephanie continually explores new techniques to bring depth and life to her subjects. Her practice is rooted in the belief that every artwork carries its own narrative. Whether depicting a self-portrait, a treasured landscape, or an intimate emotional moment, her paintings invite viewers into stories that resonate with shared human experiences. Stephanie’s work is inspired by the enduring presence of God, the beauty of nature, and the importance of family. She thoughtfully develops each composition, allowing the subject to reveal its own voice—from ancient trees that bear witness to generations of history to quiet moments that celebrate connection, compassion, and everyday life.
Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications, including the Exhibizone Grand Prize Online Exhibition (2022), Artistonish Magazine (April 2022) and its accompanying online exhibition, the United Nations June 2022 Calendar Online Exhibition, the Pretty Darn Small Group Exhibition at Hardy & Nance Gallery in Houston, Texas (2022), and the Artspace 111 Texas Online Group Exhibition (September–November 2022). She also participated in art auctions in February and May 2022, marking a particularly active year in her artistic journey.
